the Team

Marc Pingry Productions was hired by NRAO (National Radio Astronomy Observatory) through the efforts of Nils Cowan who came on board as the Producer/Director/Writer for the entire project.  MPPI (Marc Pingry Productions) would provide the DOP, Marc, and the camera gear for the shooting.  It turned out to be an amazing experience for all of us.  JoAnne Ardinger joined us on our second trip to Chile to do audio and then became the chief editor of the film.  Our boss at NRAO was John Stokes, who was always there for support throughout the length of the production.

Check out this all night time lapse of the Milkyway in the Atacama Desert that our Producer and associate, Nils Cowan,  shot for the program. We were happily surprised when we checked the camera in the morning.  It worked!!
